A Tasty Fundraiser
Cuisine for the Cause was developed out of the challenges which 2020 presented. We wanted a fundraising event that was:
- Community-centered
- Safe to attend
- A reminder of the continuing importance of mobility issues
- And of course, we wanted an event that was FUN!
THe Mission
Cuisine for the Cause was the best possible answer to those needs. With the assistance of Chef Norman Van Aken, we hosted a virtual cooking class that raised over $40,000 at the first event, and since then have held events in Mexico and Seattle, with more planned for later this year. This is truly a special time where friends can join us from the comfort of their own home to create an outstanding recipe, and learn more about the mission of Chair the Love at the same time!
